The Friends of the Eisenhower Library
The Friends of the Eisenhower Library is a volunteer, nonprofit group committed to enhancing the Eisenhower Public Library District and its services.
The Friends group would not be possible if not for the hard work and dedication of its members. New faces are always welcome at Friends meetings and events. Individual memberships cost $5.00. Family memberships cost $10.00 and include two adults and up to five children. Look for Friends Membership cards in the library or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Regular Books Sales & Annual Book Sale
To support the library mission, the Friends Group hosts regular sales on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month between 2:00 and 4:00 pm.
Each October, the Friends Group also hosts a large annual book sale featuring thousands of books, movies, and more. This sale helps to support the Friends of the Library group in its mission to enhance the library and its services. Look for Book Sale dates in our online calendar.
The majority of the items offered for sale are donated by library patrons. Your gently used books, DVDs, CDs, and video games can be placed in the donation bin located in the Library Serves area. While all donations are appreciated, the Friends are unable to accept VHS tapes, magazines, encyclopedias, condensed books, outdated computer manuals, or text books.
